The Fleur Cami is a pointelle lace cami knitted in a fingering weight cotton linen yarn, a new summer staple for days spent out in the sun. This breezy v-neck cami is delicate in its eyelet patterning, yet a little rustic with the dimensional cotton linen yarn.
This is a purchase of digital pattern instructions to knit this item, not a physical product.
construction
The Fleur Cami is worked bottom-up in the round, with no seams, beginning with an italian tubular cast-on and 1x1 ribbing. The body is worked in a pointelle pattern using broken rib and eyelets to create a geometric floral detail throughout. The v neckline is made by placing some stitches on hold while working 1 triangle at a time, decreasing at the sides. The front triangles are finished with an I-Cord strap. Then the next number of stitches are picked up, repeating for 4 total triangles. The front straps are grafted to the back triangles with kitchener stitch.
